I decided to make pie for the first time this week. Since peaches are in season in Oregon right now, I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity. We picked them at Sauvie Island, which I blogged about here. Plus, peach pie is my favorite! I adapted this recipe from Williams and Sonoma. Unfortunately some of my peaches grew moldy too soon so I had to exchange them for some nectarines. So this recipe became peach/nectarine pie with some added brown sugar at the top. This pie is delicious with vanilla bean ice cream.
