jessa's wedding on girls

I know I am late in posting this, but honestly - I forgot.  After watching the finale of HBO's Girls, a few weeks back, I remembered loving the ceremony altar at Jessa's surprise wedding.  It would make a great decoration for an outdoor wedding, or just an outdoor party.  I may have to try it out this summer when we have a housewarming soiree for our new home in California.

two years and counting!

JUNE 28, 2011

Happy Anniversary, ME. Well, to the husband and myself. It's been a good two years since we got married up in Issaquah, Washington at Treehouse Point. Since then, we've lived in Portland, OR and Montreal, QC. Who knows - by the next two years we could be living in California and Texas... let's hope not for the sake of my heat tempers and pale skin. It seems like whenever bloggers' anniversaries come up, they post pictures from their wedding. And since I like our wedding, I thought I'd do the same!!!!  It's been tough moving to Montreal away from everyone we know.  But I've been super thankful for having the opportunity to come back down to the "best coast" and seeing a lot of these people who were at our wedding.  If you know us and you live in the area, LET'S HANG OUT.

korean weddings

I've always loved the honbok (traditional Korean wedding dress).  I loved the empire waist and the tie at the neck, and the colors are always so bright and beautiful.  And then I came across these gowns by Hanbok Lynn.  They are incredible!  Both modern and traditional.... just.. beautiful. Her choice of color combination and fabrics are really well done.  I kind of wish I had a dress fashioned like one of these dresses.... I do insist you look at the designer's website, the photography and outfits are outstanding.

So now some of the images are out.  Looking forward to finding out about those prices.  I particularly  love the first 3.

anthropologie bridal line, BHLDN

Well, it's official.  Anthropologie is releasing their bridal like February 14th.  A lot of mixed emotions going on right now.  While Anthropologie's line will most likely be the most beautiful wedding dress line in the more "affordable" market, that also means we'll be seeing Anthropologie wedding dresses at every wedding for the next several years.  Also, what does this mean for the small craft/design/fashion wedding businesses?  I know, I should just enjoy the pretty details of the BHLDN preview site, and believe me, I do....

I'm looking for to finding out what this one is like.....

beautiful...

if i were to have another wedding

It would definitely be here.  A wonderful Mediterranean atmosphere, loose, flowing, comfortable gowns, casual food.  Just, wonderful.  Oh well, I still love my treehouse wedding, and if you yourself are planning a wedding, perhaps you should look into Korakia, in Palm Springs.
